Marius Hügli and Martin Kovacovsky two graduated students from HGK Basel realized this augmented reality book in 2010 as part of their Bachelor-Thesis. It’s an experimental design project which explores and demonstrates the new possibilities opened up by the use of augmented reality technology in the printing sector.

Plastic Kid is the multi-talented film/art director Jakob Printzlau working worldwide out of Copenhagen, Denmark. I’m following his work already quite a while now. Wow! Also because of is work as musician with his band The Fashion.
His playful yet haunting film work for artists such as Kashmir and Turboweekend has earned him a reputation as one of the hottest up and coming music video directors in Denmark, and at the annual 2010 Gaffa Awards his video for Kashmirs ‘Stillboy’ won the award for video of the year.

‘Helmut’ a typographic work and development based on a typeface found in an old newspaper article of “L’Illustration”. Superscript² an interesting studio based in Lyon are the designers. It’s still work in process according to their website.

Superscript² was founded 2006 by Pierre Delmas Bouly and Patrick Lallemand and as a graphic design studio interested in different mediums of expression of Graphic Design such as (book “object”, monograph, catalog, magazine, poster, etc..), typography and digital media (Website, digital facilities, etc.).

A f****** nice video about letter press. Strawberry Militia and Graphic Fury present in association with the University of the Arts London ‘Let’s Press’ a film about letter press.

The poster in the clip features the unique sample of the Flaxman typeface designed by Edward Wright only available at Camberwell College of Arts London. And look at this nice ‘tiny’ printmaking workshop. Absolutely amazing! Plus the Flaxman typeface is the WOW!
